We have always believed a good book is worth the time to read it. Especially on those days where Mother Nature feels the need to keep us at our mooring. Books have the ability to open your mind, change your opinions, educate you, entertain you, relax you and transport you to another world. Be it fiction, non-fiction, a long novel, a short story, in paperback, hardcover or electronically, with or without pictures, or even without words books are part of the fabric of our lives.
We hope you enjoy seeing into our bookworm world by learning about the books we are currently reading and also some favorite recommendations. If you have a favorite book you think we should read please let us know.
Feel free to borrow a book from our library – we have shelves and shelves of books that we have read. Some good, some great and some that we don’t care if they get returned or not.

“Books are the perfect entertainment: no commercials, no batteries, hours of enjoyment for each dollar spent. What I wonder is why everybody doesn’t carry a book around for those inevitable dead spots in life.” – Stephen King
