Name: Chateau Vieus Clos St Emilion Grand Cru
Year: 2008
Type: Red Wine
Grape: Bordeaux Red Blend (50% merlot, 40% cabernet franc and 10% Malbec)
Country: France
Region: Bordeaux
Description: Like most Bordeaux’s, balanced, medium body, subtle fruit. With the amount of cabernet franc and malbec, this should have a lingering, earthy finish.
Pairing: Our diet is mostly vegan/vegetarian, except for occasional cheeses (Carl’s weakness). Expect this to come out of the cellar for a special occasion with aged cheese, mushroom/vegetable risotto, or smoked tofu.
Status: Still aging in our cellar. Just about ready.
